Instant Pot Chicken Biryani

Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice2 Cups
  • Chicken Thighs & Drumsticks700g
  • Yogurt/Hung Curd3/4 Cup
  • Brown Onions1/2 Cup
  • Tomato Puree1/2 Cup
  • Garam Masala Powder1 tsp
  • Saffron & Hot Milk2 tbsp

Instructions

Marinate the chicken with brown onions, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, and spices for 2 hours or overnight.

Soak the Basmati rice for 20 minutes before cooking.

Sauté whole spices in ghee, add marinated chicken, and pressure cook for 3 minutes.

04.

Layer coriander, mint, and drained rice over the chicken. Add hot water and pressure cook for another 6 minutes.
